Brian Reid retired from Kainos Software Ltd as Sales and Marketing director in 2015, a role he had held since 2004. He has worked in the IT sector for over 40 years, previously holding senior posts in both Hewlett Packard in Bracknell as Practice Principal – Global Services, and for ICL/Fujitsu in various sales and senior management roles. He is an experienced all round business leader, particularly in sales and marketing disciplines. He is an honorary Fellow of the Sales Institute of Ireland since 1999; a member of the Institute of Directors since 1999 achieving Chartered Director status (C.Dir) in 2006, and serves on the Professional Development Committee of IoD since 2009. He was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD) in 2014. Brian was also a non-executive director of Warrenpoint Harbour Authority between 2010 and 2015, and currently holds non-exec director roles at Digital Democracy, and Marenco, a QUBIS spin out environmental consultancy.
Award winning serial entrepreneur, Ann-Marie Slavin founded her first technology company in 1993 and subsequently went on to found Opt2vote Ltd in 2003. Ann-Marie was Chief Executive Officer of Opt2vote and led many successful electoral reform projects, leading to the creation of successful and innovative solutions in electronic voting and e-counting.
Siobhan has over 15 years experience in the IT sector, 12 of which have been within the elections industry, in programme and project management, managed services, enterprise software solutions and systems integration. Siobhan was the lead Project Manager for the team that delivered the successful Electronic Counting project for the Scottish Assembly Elections in 2012 and went on to become a founding member of Modern Democracy.

Carmel QuiggSales Director
With over 18 years’ experience in the IT sector, and over a decade of elections specific experience as a Senior Product Manager, working on numerous elections projects in the UK and Europe, Carmel is highly experienced and much respected within the elections industry.
John TomlinsonMarket Development Executive
John has 35 years’ experience working in electoral services. He was project manager for Sheffield’s e-voting pilots in 2002, 2003 and 2007. Between 2008 and 2018 he was Electoral Services Manager at Sheffield City Council and introduced a new electoral registration process for Students, now recognised as best practice by both the government and the Electoral Commission. His vast experience has given him a great understanding of the sort of risks and issues election teams face.
Vincent QuigleyHead of Delivery
Vincent has a proven track record in delivering products and building teams using best practice Agile software methodologies. He has 15 years experience in the software industry and enjoys solving complex issues, working with customers and delivering great software.
