Supporting AEA’s Blueprint & Government Pilots

Electoral reform is not a periodic adjustment; it’s a continuous journey to ensure that our democratic systems remain robust, transparent, and accessible to all.

The AEA’s latest blueprint highlights key areas for modernisation, including recommendation 26, which acknowledges the role of digital tools in transforming election day operations.

One example? Real-time visibility on election day. Traditional paper-based processes limit oversight, leaving teams reactive rather than proactive. With Modern Polling, election teams can track voter flow, manage polling station performance, and respond instantly to issues—ensuring smoother operations and greater accountability.

The need for real time visibility was echoed by MP Jess Phillips recently when she shared that she relies on direct communication with the RO to receive hourly voter turnout figures. By harnessing election-day analytics, local authorities can shift from estimation to certainty.

As the trusted partner for Government pilots, we’ve been at the forefront of election modernisation—leading the first Voter ID trial in 2018 and supporting pilots for Early Voting, Flexible Voting, and enhanced Voter Engagement. By harnessing digital solutions, local authorities can streamline processes, strengthen security, and create a more efficient and accessible voting experience.
